Meet The CEO

Eric Wichhart has been a resident of Florida since 1986. Apart from eight years of service in the United States Air Force, Mr. Wichhart has resided in Orange and Lake Counties. Eric and his wife Lynda have lived in Lake County since 2005, where they plan to raise their family. Eric is the C.E.O. of ConnectU; a Eustis based Technology Company which services many businesses throughout Central Florida.

Eric has a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management from Palm Beach University, West Palm Beach, Florida and an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Avionic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.

Eric currently serves on the Lake Sumter Business Resource Center Micro-loan Committee helping small businesses start-up and grow by providing small loans. He volunteers his time and expert business and technology experience at LifeWorks Communication, a non-profit organization in Winter Park, Florida. He is currently servicing as a Director of the Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce, where his goal is to use his experiences and abilities to help other members grow their businesses. He actively serves in the Media Ministry at his church.

During his tour of duty with The United States Air Force as an Aircraft Communication and Navigation Systems Specialist, he received The Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service as well as the Southwest Asia Service Medal for his participation in Operation Desert Star in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After leaving the Air Force as a Staff Sergeant, E-5, he served two years in the Florida Air National Guard as a Communications Systems Supervisor.
